On April 6th, 2018 PEL’s two research associates for the spring semester presented on the progress of their papers; highlighting key lessons and challenges in researching law in China. We applaud them for their diligent efforts and are excited to share their insightful presentations.

Charlie Kuo (JD ’20) is performing a comparative study of air emission regulation practices and standards for the Oil and Gas industry between the U.S. and China to identify opportunities for shared learning and improvements.

Gabriela McMurtry (JD ’20) is evaluating China’s legal framework for fisheries management in national waters to assess regulatory limitations and gaps.
